David is one of the Directors at LifeConnect and registered Psychologist with endorsements to practice in Clinical and Counseling Psychology. He has been in private practice as a psychologist for over 25 years in North Sydney. During this time David has served on several boards and as an Honorary Associate and Field Supervisor at Macquarie University for 17 years on the Masters of Counselling psychology and Doctorate of Psychology programs. He is currently supervisor on the Macquarie University Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology, and Masters of Clinical Psychology programme. David provides Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Psychotherapy for mental health issues including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, as well as personality disorders. David also has a wealth of experience in Corporate Coaching having worked with a number of our CEO's and their senior executives, working on issues such as career development, managing staff, leadership. stratergy, communications, conflict resolution and stress management. David enjoys a diverse practice, from treating clinical conditions for people suffering mental health problems; to helping successful business people achieve their goals.
Cheryl is a founding Director of LifeConnect and has over 30 years experience working with clients and patients in various medical and therapeutic settings. Her central interest is with clients who suffer from mental health issues or clients that may have psychological issues that contribute to both personal and relational pain and suffering. All of these issues can also cause disruption to everyday life both personally and in the workspace.

Cheryl has been in the private practice for more than 25 years. She has background training in self-psychology, the conversational model and mindfulness based stress reduction. One of the highlights in her training was the completion of the ANZAP Diploma in Psychotherapy. She also completed some of her training in mindfulness with Jon Kabat Zinn.
Cheryl’s clinical training and experience as a Psychotherapist & Relationship Counselor allows her to bring a wealth of knowledge, compassion and insight to her work. In addition to psychotherapy, Cheryl has cultivated a deep interest in the therapeutic application of meditation to relieve stress and suffering in peoples lives. She regularly provides MBSR courses. Finally, she has a special interest in the developmental phases of life and has applied, lectured and taught this subject for many years. She has developed the practical application of these insights, and is the author of the successful life map programs, supporting couples and partners to deepening their relationship to live more fulfilled and enriched lives together. and has served on several boards.
Judith is a registered psychologist with a specialisation in Organisational Psychology. She has been practicing psychology for the past 10 years and has gained extensive experience working in clinical and corporate settings. Having worked with a diverse range of issues and clients Judith has developed skills in a broad range of therapeutic approaches helping clients with psychological issues affecting both their professional and personal life.
Judith has expertise in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), management of anxiety and depression, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), assertiveness training and the management of behavioural problems.
Outside of LifeConnect Judith also gained invaluable corporate experience working with numerous large organisations. This allows her to bring a depth of knowledge to the practice, in particular to career-related counselling and therapy for issues such as work stress and anxiety, burnout, work-life balance, bullying, career and vocational planning, conflict resolution and executive coaching.
Judith is a warm and compassionate therapist, with a keen genuine interest in and concern for her clients, and a fine sensitivity to their needs.
Gabrielle Betteridge is a registered psychologist with a Master of Clinical Psychology degree (with distinction). Gabrielle is experienced in treating individuals, couples and groups with problems of mood, anxiety, trauma, addictions, personality disorders, relationship, and sexual issues. She has a special interest in treating couples who are experiencing relationship distress, or who are simply wanting to improve their communication and relational skills. Gabrielle utilises various therapeutic approaches in her work, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectic Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and psychodynamic therapy.
Before training in clinical psychology, Gabrielle worked in the television industry as a producer, director and interviewer. This dynamic field has given her a unique exposure to a range of people in many different life situations, a background which comes through in her a broad-minded, non-judgemental approach to her therapeutic work. Gabrielle is also a qualified educator and published author in psychology journals. She was awarded the University Medal at the University of Western Sydney for her outstanding achievements in her Bachelor of Psychology degree.
