What is Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction?

Judgmental way, in the present moment.

MBSR brings together meditation techniques with psychological research for improving physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. The course is taught by LifeConnect Director, Psychotherapist and trained Mindfulness Practitioner Cheryl Assuage.

During the 8 weeks, you will learn to modify or enhance your emotional state, thoughts and behaviour. The techniques taught may have a deeply healing effect for people coming to terms with their suffering in sadness, fear, resentment and anger.

Who is it for?

We welcome people who want to develop more peace of mind and are prepared to commit to improving their own health and well-being.

What is involved?

When:     The 8 week course is run consecutively throughout the year. The next course for 2017 starts Tuesday 10th October, 2017 at 6:30pm.
Duration: 8 evenings from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. The evening sessions are on the following dates: 10/10/2017; 17/10/2017; 24/10/2017; 31/10/2017; 07/11/2017;14/11/2017; 21/11/2017; 28/11/2017. One Full Day Silent Retreat on Sunday 19th November 2017.
